ABOUT MY RATES:
The first question most people want to ask is, "How much does this cost?". My current rates range between $65 and 80/session (charged weekly) and they are based on "the market". My first client in the New Orleans area offered me $20/session and we made a deal. She is still my client and still pays $20/session. My second group of clients signed on at $30/session and six months after starting in the New Orleans area, I was offered $50/session. As my schedule gets busier, my rates go up but each client who continues with me keeps the rate they started with.
The range in my rates reflects my travel time to location and the time of day you prefer to train. Generally, I charge higher rates for early mornings and late evenings. Currently, I accept clients between the hours of 8am and 7:30pm. If you wish to train earlier or later, please call me for availability and rates.
WEEKLY PERSONAL TRAINING:
Most of my clients sign-up for weekly ongoing training 2-6 days a week. I charge week-to-week with no long-term contracts to allow for flexibility for travel, holidays, and other breaks in shedule. I usually schedule each client for a set time slot with flexibility to change the schedule from week to week, when necessary.
All of my personal training packages include nutrition information, food log analysis (with no added cost), and any of the program components listed in a bottom of this page (we will decide together which components are most applicable to you). My current rates for personal training range from $65-80/session depending on your training schedule and location with some discounted rates available in the City Park.
If you are already regularly active on your own but lack the necessary information or skills to eat healthy, my nutrition consultation program might be the right solution for you. In about 4-5 weekly meetings, we will cover all the necessary information for your to learn how to make and/or select meals that will help you lose weight, reduce your cholesterol or blood pressure, or simply eat and live healthier. I will also cover information and ideas on how to stay motivated to stick to your healthy meals.
During nutrition consultations, you will learn the basics of nutrition, how to analyze food logs, how to use online food tracking programs, and how to stick to healthy meals. These skills put together, will help you reach your weight loss or other health goals.
Each meeting lasts 60-90 minutes and can be scheduled any day of the week.
My current rate for nutritional counseling is 75/session with no additional charges for food log analysis or materials. For nutritional counseling, I use easy to read materials that I have personally designed for the program.
WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS:
My 6-week program is designed for those particularly in need for weight loss and based on a group weight loss program I designed and ran in Los Angeles, CA in 2002 and 2003. In the end of the 6 weeks you will have all the skills you need to eat healthy and stay active on your own. The program continues with phone and email support for an additional 12 weeks with personal training as needed during this time.
This progran is for people who are ready to change their lives. This means that you should have enough motivation to go for a walk once in a while on your own and you should have worked out at least once in the month prior to signing up for this plan. If you find it difficult to get going on your own and feel that you need more accountability, then continued weekly training might be a better option for you.
The cost of the plan depends on the number of days you meet with me during your 6-week initial phase:
3-days a week for 6 weeks with 12 weeks of email and phone support and 2 follow-up workout sessions - $1400
5-days a week for 6 weeks with 12 weeks of email and phone support and 2 follow-up workout sessions - $2000
If you dedicate your time to your plan and reach the goals outlined in the beginning of the program, you receive a 25% refund at the end of the program to buy new clothes! ;)
I offer one to three day wellness workshops to groups of 3-15 people. For upcoming workshops, please email me for more information.

I offer health screenings, health and fitness seminars, and workshops. I can also design motivational/inspirational presentations based on your company's goals and objectives.
I have presented on numerous health and fitness topics and done motivational speaking, and team building seminars at worksites, community centers, a talent agency, and fitness centers. I have also taught undergraduate level classes at universities, designed and presented lecture series, and presented my research at several scientific conferences.

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES:
I offer group classes, including general fitness, circuit training, calisthenics, stretching, and meditation at your office or worksite. I can bill either a group of individuals or your company. If you are interested in starting a fitness or weight loss group at your company, please call me to set up an appointment to discuss the details.
To teach a class at your site, all I need is access to a small to medium conference or meeting room. I bring any necessary equipment with me. Students are encouraged to bring a workout mat or a towel to class with them.
My wellness workshops can range in depth from a single 2-3 hour workshop to several weekly meetings with a group interested in learning more about fitness and wellness and the skills needed to stay in shape for life.
