I promote the general idea of eating a balanced, healthy diet of plenty of fresh veggies and fruit and moderate amounts of whole grains, low fat meats, and low-fat or fat free milk products, while minimizing junk. I give my clients ideas on how to gradually improve their eating habits and how to balance real life choices with living healthy.
"Being healthy" is a continuum, not an all-or-none choice and just how healthy my client wants to become is their choice. While they adopt new ways of eating, cooking, and living, I am there to help guide their decisions with solid information. In other words, I promote scientifically sound and personally and culturally meaningful eating habits.
ABOUT MY PHOTOS:
I keep getting asked to write a cook book. The fact is that I seldom make the exact same meal twice and I almost never measure anything. I simply mix and match healthy ingredients that I like based on what I find in my fridge or pantry on any given day.
So, for now, I'm taking photos of some of the stuff I have cooked or ate to inspire you to experiment with veggies, fruit, and other "goodness" to design healthy meals that you enjoy! :)
